
Student Development Coordinator
Background
Teri Grant joined the UBC Library team in September 2011. Prior to that, Teri graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University in Ontario with an Honours BA in Global Studies and Political Science. After moving to Vancouver, she worked in Student Housing and Hospitality Services as a Residence Coordinator, and, more recently, as the Opening Day Coordinator. Teri has an extensive background in student leadership, team development, project management, and event planning.
Current Role and Responsibilities
In her current role as the Student Development Coordinator, Chapman Learning Commons, Teri works with fourteen student-staff and eight student volunteers to provide a high level of support and service to the UBC community through programs, events, campus initiatives, and academic coaching. As a Student Affairs professional, Teri also works with the rest of the Student Development team to support and promote student orientation and transition, student learning, and leadership development and involvement.
