Financial Support
For the 2011/2012 fiscal year the BC History Digitization Program is providing approximately $180,000 in amounts up to $15,000.
The applicant’s contribution to the project must equal at least 50% of the total project costs. Although most projects are expected to be completed within one year, applications for larger, multi-phase projects lasting up to three years will be considered.
Eligibility
Private or public institutions and agencies that have the preservation of historical British Columbia materials as part of their mandate are eligible for funding. This includes, but is not necessarily limited to, libraries, archives, museums and post-secondary institutions.
