Welcome to the Robson Reading Series at the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre on UBC's Point Grey campus. The UBC Bookstore at Robson Square and UBC Library's Robson Square branch are pleased to offer this "free series to challenge our understanding of Canadian living, and to expose us to fresh ideas from some of the country's finest writers".

Upcoming Author Reading featuring Lee Maracle – The First Wives Club

Lee MaracleLee Maracle, of Salish and Cree ancestry, a member of the Sto:loh Nation, was born in North Vancouver, BC. The author of a number of critically acclaimed literary works including, she is also the co-editor of a number of anthologies including the award winning publication, My Home As I Remember. She is a co-author of Telling It; Women and Language Across Culture. Lee is widely published in anthologies and scholarly journals worldwide. She is currently the Distinguished Visiting Professor of Canadian Culture at Western Washington University.
