Research on Motion

Presented by the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre and UBC Woodward Library, the Health Information Series presents “Research on Motion: Innovative Approaches to Support Physical Activity.”  In partnership with the Institute for Healthy Living and Chronic Disease Prevention and the Faculty of Health and Social Development,  this symposium showcases international and regional research related to improving physical activity among adults to positively impact obesity and chronic disease, and enhance quality of life. Who should attend? This half-day symposium provides an opportunity for community members, health professionals, educators, fitness trainers, recreational program leaders, students, and researchers to learn about current research and its practical application in physical activity promotion.
